Online Training Available

If you are using Firefox or Mac O.S without Internet Explorer you will not be able to access online training. It is hosted in the National system, which is not compatible with Firefox and Mac O.S

Before doing Youth Protection Training, you will need newest version of Adobe flash player. It can be down loaded at www.Adobe.com.Youth Protection Training will not work properly without this upgrade.

Providing a variety of materials, from quick references to complete training, these courses are designed to help adult leaders improve leadership skills and deliver a quality program.

The following courses are available: Youth Protection Training, Cub Scout Fast Start, Boy Scout Fast Start, Venture Advisor Fast Start, Safe Swim Defense, Safety Afloat and Venture Crew Orientation.

Attention
The applications for the NESA Eagle Scout scholarships have changed. The new applications are posted at http://www.nesa.org/applications.html. The new version is the only application will accept in 2009. Hard copies should be printed and mailed to the national office. Applications must be postmarked no later than midnight January 31, 2009.

New Hours
What a better way to celebrate the National Boy Scouts of America's Year of the Volunteer than to serve our 10,000+ volunteers better.
Effective Monday, September 8th, the Jet Potter Service Center will be open from 7:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Monday through Friday. The Nashville Scout Shop will be open to serve volunteers Monday - Friday from 8:00 a.m - 5:30 p.m and Saturday from 10:00 a.m - 2:00 p.m.


New Adult Application

The key difference between this new Adult application and the old Adult application is the addition of Page 2. If you have already completed an old application and have not yet turned it in, then you will need to complete the second page of the new Adult Application.
