2013 Nashville Patron Luncheon

The 21st Annual Boy Scout Patron Luncheon was chaired for a 2nd straight year by Damon Hininger, CEO of Corrections Corporations of America. This luncheon, the only one of its kind, took place Tuesday, February 26, 2013. Our featured speaker was Scott Hamilton, 1984 Olympic Gold Medalist and world champion figure skater.

We had 850 friends of Scouting in attendance at the downtown Renaissance Hotel. Patrons enjoyed the featured speaker as well as Taylor Allen, Eagle Scout from Troop 154 who shared his Scouting experience which he has been a part of since the age of 7. Patrons learned about the impact that Scouting has made in the community and the $1.5 million that was invested back into middle Tennessee through the 356 Eagle Scout projects.

The event lead sponsors were Corrections Corporation of America and Community Health Systems. The Supporting sponsors were Pinnacle Financial Partners and Franklin American Mortgage. We thank the sponsors for underwriting the cost of the meal. We were able to announce $1.675,000 raised to date.
