It's Alive
The OA Witschindin Chapter is alive again. After a few years of near extinction, it has been revived by Arrowmen, bound in Brotherhood and ready for cheerful service. The Chapter organized and led the Witschindin Tribal Challenge Spring Camporee, where “tribes” got together to compete in Native American challenges and games.

At closing campfire, 29 candidates were called out for membership. These future Arrowmen joined together for fun and fellowship at the New Candidate Event at PlaMor Lanes, getting to know each other before going through the Ordeal.

Pack 924 News
Pack 924 has had a busy year! The big focus this year was on the Nova Badge. Boys learn about STEM (science, technology, engineering, and mathematics) by reading books and doing experiments. Sally Spear, den leader and science teacher, led the boys in experiments at the local branch of the library. Here they are finishing an experiment with ice and how it melts on various surfaces. Brrrr!

We welcomed seven new Tiger cubs into the pack in 2013. Jason Crisel, a six year veteran of Cub Scouts and den leader, leads the group in having fun! His Tigers just finished the last requirement for their badge and are taking a well-deserved break. There are also over twenty boys earning rank badges and three Webelos that crossed over to Troop 275.

Congratulations to all our boys on their hard work, and many thanks to the parents and den leaders that helped make this happen!
