It’s popcorn time again in the Dan Beard District! Selling popcorn is a great way to help supplement the unit’s budget allowing your unit to experience even more program during the year. This year’s popcorn selling season will be very exciting with a new fun opportunity. In the Dan Beard District, there will be five mystery houses with Game Stop gift cards for the first scout to stop by knock on their door. Clues hinting at the location of these houses will be released all through the popcorn season. More information regarding the mystery houses will be available in August. If you haven’t signed up yet to sell popcorn there is still time. Contact Ian Weir for more information.

This is a great opportunity for your older youth and adult leaders to learn more about training within the unit and on the district/ council level for everything from rank advancement to Leader Specific Training for new leaders and outdoor courses.
